Q: How many people can fit inside a yurt?

A: We currently have 5m, 7m and 9m yurts available. The number of people is really dependent on the furniture/layout of the yurt. As a rough guide we have had 90 people seated in an 'audience' format for a band inside our 9m yurt. We recommend measuring out the size of yurt you are thinking of hiring to get an idea of its size.

Q: Can i hire a yurt for a public function or festival?

A: Yes! Our yurts have been certified by a structural engineer! If you are looking to hire a yurt and you require legal documentation please get in contact with us and we can provide you with the paperwork you need.

Q: CAN I HANG DECORATIONS FROM THE STRUCTURE OF THE YURT?

A: Absolutely! We encourage you to be as creative as possible when decorating our yurts. Decorations and lighting can be hung from the roof poles, weaved throughout the walls or even hung directly from the 'crown'. We only ask that you check with us first!

Q: DO THE YURTS COME WITH FLOORING?

A: No, the yurts do not come with flooring. Rolling out a few carpets can be a quick way to add some flooring and it can also add to the unique feel of our yurts.  We hire out 6 "Persian" style rugs upon request.

Q: CAN I HAVE A FIRE INSIDE THE YURT?

A: At this stage we aren't allowing open fires inside our yurts. Although the canvas is fire retardant, the possibility of damage from flames or smoke is too high. We are looking into the possibility of 'potbelly' style heaters in the future. For now we recommend using portable 'patio' style gas heaters.

Q: ARE THE YURTS WATERPROOF?

A: Our yurt covers are made from waterproof canvas, but like all canvas materials there can be a slight amount of leakage (a few drips) if there is an extreme downpour.

Q: Can i see a yurt set up before i hire it?

A: If we have yurts being hired out, depending on the occasion, there is the possibility of a viewing. Please contact us to organise this.
